We’ve all looked at a neighbour’s garden and thought “how do they do it?”. How have they managed to grow hanging baskets that are overflowing with beautiful flowers? How are their containers so green and vibrant this far into the season? And how is their vegetable patch so abundant and all I have is a couple of stringy beans and a limp lettuce?
The answer is simple, but often overlooked: Feeding.
Just like us, all plants need ‘food’ to ensure they grow to their best with strong roots, healthy leaves and vivid blooms. The nutrients needed are found in soil and compost; however the plant gradually exhausts the soil by absorbing all its goodness. Using a plant food regularly will replace the lost nutrients allowing the plant to continuously thrive.
So how do plant foods work?
Standard plant foods use NPK alone.
Nitrogen (N) – for healthy, bright green leaves
Phosphorous (P) – for strong roots
Potassium (K) – for better blooms and fruit and veg
Baby Bio Outdoors takes this nurturing a step further and uses bio-stimulants to help encourage the plant’s uptake of nutrients and minerals, so that they utilise these to the absolute max.
So how can you get beds full of enviable shrubs and hanging baskets to stop people in their tracks?
By using Baby Bio, of course!
How to Feed:
Using Baby Bio® Outdoors is so simple, whether you are using our Flowers & Shrubs, or our Fruit & Vegetables product.
All you need to do is add 10ml of liquid per 1 litre of water into your watering can.
Don’t worry about over/under feeding, just water as you would normally around the base of your plant.
You only need to do this once every 2 weeks while the plant is actively growing, so for example, a plant that is dormant over winter, you would only need to feed from Spring to Autumn.
Between feeds just water as usual and sit back and enjoy a blooming gorgeous garden, abundant with delicious fruit and veg, and huge beautiful flowers. Simple.
