Whitefly

Common sap sucking pest found around the garden on a wide range of plants including all brassicas, outdoor plants, bedding, greenhouse and house plants. Small white flies (looking like small white moths), which multiply quickly and rise in clouds when plants are disturbed. Developing scales may also be seen on the undersides of leaves.  Some species show resistance to particular chemicals.  Whitefly is an unlikely pest of parsnips.

There is currently no chemical registered for the control of whitefly on parsnips.
