Raised bright orange or brown spots/ pustules appear on the underside of leaves and along stems on many types of plants. Rust infections are generally more severe in damp conditions/late summer.  A common problem affecting a wide range of plants including beans, plums, raspberries, onion, garlic, leeks, currants  Also many ornamental plants.

There is currently no chemical registered for the control of this problem on blackberries.
