Widespread pest commonly affecting apples. Adult Codling Moths emerge in late May and lay eggs on or near to the developing fruits from June to mid-July. The small grubs bore into the fruit and feed in the core region. The maggots exit hole is often visible in the side of the ripe fruit. Product Solution:The newly hatched caterpillars can be controlled with Sprayday Greenfly Killer, or Provado Ultimate Fruit and Vegetable Bug Killer ready to use or concentrate, The trees should be sprayed around the third week of June, repeated 3 weeks later.
