Caterpillars


Feeding commonly on leaves, seedlings, shoots, flowers and fruit. Large, irregular holes can be seen on leaves often with feeding damage occurring to the leaf edges. Black frass (droppings) can also be seen on the leaves. Cabbage White caterpillars are a common pest of brasica plants.

Product Solution: Spray with Sprayday Greenfly Killer, Provado Ultimate Fruit and Vegetable Bug Killer ready to use when caterpillars are present and repeat 10-14 days later. Alternatively if the caterpillars are not far advanced in their life cycle spray with Provado Ultimate Bug Killer Ready to Use.

Cultural measures: Remove and destroy clusters of eggs when seen. Pick off caterpillars by hand where ever possible.
